The name of the hotel Le Grand Turc reveals an unusual story, dating from August 8, 1808, that of a stopover made here by the Emperor Napoleon 1st and his general of the guard, the Mamluk Amaduc Roustam, Grand Turkish Chief. The relay which was called at the time “l’auberge de l’Oie Grasse” was therefore renamed by its owner Mrs. Briand in memory of this event.
Today, the hotel has two restaurants, three seminar and reception rooms, 44 spacious bedrooms served by a lift. Entirely renovated, they combine modern equipment (air conditioning, flat screen TV with cable channels, free wifi, courtesy trays, etc.) and simple decoration to propose the best.
